This place was absolutely amazing! It was like stepping back in time. Some of the best home-cooked food we’ve had in a very long time.

This is my favorite restaurant in my territory . The Ruben, the best I have had. The German Potato Salad is an A+. Then finally German Chocolate Cake. Delicious. I drove 15 miles out of the way to eat here again. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I definitely would.
When you first come in, you’ll think it dirty. It’s not. The building was built in 1812 and is one of those awesome places that’s kind of crooked but it’s right. Incredible plank floors. And pawpaw can cook!!
I love eating here! First, I'm a huge fan of old, historical buildings, so that's always a plus. The food is great! The specials they have are always delicious and the service has always been wonderful also! Can't wait to go back!
