Phenomenal. 4.8/5. A must visit when in Aspen - there’s a reason it’s hard to get reservations. Clark’s has pulled off a great package, combining excellent food, friendly service, and warm upscale casual vibe for dinner. Really well done. Restaurant is small and cozy, fireplace is a great touch at night. Food focus is fresh seafood but they have other options as well. Everything we tried was excellent. Recommend the shrimp cocktail and grilled octopus for appetizers. Crackers on shrimp cocktail were divine. For mains the lobster roll is one of the best I’ve had and mussels and clams entree was great. The key lime pie is a must to finish. Service was unpretentious and friendly - perfect fit to vibe. Crowd was upscale and well dressed unpretentious. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come ba
One of the best meals of our trip, and I’m not even an oyster fan! I actually was ok with these oysters and that’s saying something. The crab Mac and cheese, crab cake, kale (we got it without pine nuts), and pasta with clams were all delicious! The fish was extremely fresh and amazing!
Had a great time the weekend before Thanksgiving. Since it was before the season we were able to get in without issue for lunch, I hear it’s much harder during ski season. I had a great lobster roll that was well worth it. It was stuffed with a bunch of large, Juicy pieces of lobster. Plus the serving of fries was huge. My in laws really enjoyed the mussels and seafood stew. The oyster selection was wide ranging and tasted very fresh. Great spot, highly recommend it if you’re in Aspen and looking for a seafood spot.
Clark’s is always a win. Everything was on point: excellent martinis, incredibly fresh oysters, and absolutely delicious pasta. I truly love this place. The atmosphere and consistency usually make it a standout. The only downside this time was the lobster roll. On previous visits it’s been brutal (in the best way), but this time it was just a bit underwhelming. Still, an overall fantastic experience, and I’d happily go back again.
Clark’s is an absolute must every time I’m in Aspen. The atmosphere is lively yet elegant, the service is flawless, and the food is consistently outstanding. From the fresh seafood to the perfectly crafted cocktails, every detail is done right. It’s the kind of place where you come for dinner and end up staying for the energy and the experience. Truly one of Aspen’s gems—already counting down to my next visit! If you want, I can also tailor it to sound more casual, luxury-leaning, or influencer-style for Google or Instagram.
