Clarence Honeyhouse

We love the Honey house! We have had out of town guests stay there several times and everyone always enjoys it. Sue takes very good care of us and our guests and the house is a historical landmark with so much charm and even newer artistic touches that make you want to enjoy every corner! We are definitely returning guests and would recommend anyone who wants to enjoy the area to stay there.

I rented Clarence Honeyhousr for about three weeks last year, to put up guests for a film project. We had one person stay there for the entire time, another person stay about half as long, and three additional people stay periodically - so between one and six people. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations - it’s a very comfortable house with a great fireplace and antique decor / and found the owners hospitable and unobtrusive. I would definitely rent it again. The house is on the corner of Main Street, so centrally located to a quaint downtown area and very close to a busier strip with plenty of restaurants.

What a lovely charming cottage, the owners have been able to keep the original house beautifully preserved, but the rooms are all upgraded and new, nice modern bathrooms, very spacious and charming! Sue is a wonderful host, she paid extra attention to all the details. Was very helpful and welcoming. My family loved it there!!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Honey House. First, the house had plenty of space for the 6 of us. The house was comfortable to lounge around in after a day of being out and about. Bonus, 2 1/2 baths. Its very hard to find a home with more than 2 bathrooms. Might not seem like a big deal but it is :) lol. Second, the area is very walkable, with a park across the street and restaurants nearby. And we absolutely loved sitting around outside in front of the house. If we were "home" we had our meals there since the weather was so nice. Third, Sue is amazing. Any questions were answered promptly. I feel she really went our of her way to make our stay pleasant. We plan on staying here again!

this cute older house was absolutely magical! the kitchen is like a time machine like the rest of the house !! it was super cozy and the super homey ! Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice getaway with friends , family or partners !!
