Taste of madras Indian cuisine

Absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend their dosa with sambar, and we also were impressed with their naan and flavorful curries. The family who runs this restaurant offers warm hospitality and excellent cooking. Stop by for a bite if you’re in the area!

Went there tonight with my father-in-law. We both enjoy Indian cuisine and this definitely hit the spot! Very authentic. We were warned about the spice level and I was not disappointed. The dish I got was a tiny bit outside of my comfort level but it was full of flavor and everything was tasty. I will definitely be going back. A very nice family vibe and just a lovely family. You like Indian cuisine, you need to hit this spot up.

Nice little mom & pop Indian spot, concentrating on South Indian food. We tried mutton curry, onion pakora and parantha bread for lunch. All tasty. Lots more to choose from. Note - food is of high quality, but don’t expect to be in and out quickly. The owner pretty much runs the place by himself at lunch time. He’ll explain the menu items on request.

We had a phenomenal lunch Taste of Madras, located in Clarence’s historic hollow district. They are located right before Antique World when driving east. Great service, great flavors. Will definitely be back to try more dishes and support their new business! Standouts for us were the butter naan, chicken 65 appetizer, and the curry with Lima beans.

Soooo delicious. Our kids loved their dosas and we loved the lamb and eggplant. We won’t be in the area till next year but we have a summer cabin nearby so now we know where to get the best food ever within 5 minutes from us. Thank you!!
