Claire's Cakes & Cafe

I live over four and a half hours away, and yes — I’d willingly pile my eight kids into the car (armed with an audiobook and questionable patience) just to go to Claire’s Café! The quiche is phenomenal, the breakfast sandwiches are mouthwatering, and the atmosphere is pure balm for the soul. The staff feel like long-lost friends, always ready to chat and catch up. And the coffee? It’s leagues beyond great! I even once ordered a custom cake last-minute, and it turned out absolutely perfect.

Charming decor, welcoming staff, great feeling, yummy coffee. I love the hutch with mugs and the gift items. The floral theme makes me happy.

The staff is very nice. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The sandwiches didn’t look like the pictures, the bread was quite tasteless, and the milk and cheese had a strange aftertaste. The coffee was okay. I honestly expected much more from a café with a 4.7 rating. Sadly, I couldn’t even take more than one bite, and my husband was disappointed too. We got mozzarella sandwich and chicken sandwich.

Great food for a great price. Owners are amazing people. I go there often just because of the breakfast bagels and cupcakes. I definitely recommend Claire’s as your daily spot or if you stopping by hot springs!

This small cafe/coffee shop is one of few in the town near The Homestead Resort. Staff are friendly and inside is cute and welcoming with ample seating and large windows and patio seats. They had a nice menu with lunch and breakfast items as well as ice cream from Homestead Creamery, coffee and tea, etc. After a long hike or a day spent at the springs/resort - this is a fun stop and short walk from the hotel.
