City Of Auburn Public Works

I just recently relocated to the Metro Atlanta area, Barrow County to be exact, and I am flabbergasted at the asinine water and sewage billing processes. My bill arrives about 3 days before it is due. I always pay it upon receipt. This month I forgot so the bill is two weeks late and my service was turned off today. My water was turned off for non payment of a bill not 30 days late….not even two weeks late. The City of Auburn literally came to my house and turned off my water for a bill not even 2 weeks late. This is literally insane. I am going to sell my house and leave this County.

They have the worst system ever! They did shut off the water for nonpayment, even I paid the bill ten days before due date. The bank sent the money on the date I paid and they are saying that they didnt receive the money. They even didnt contact me to let me know that they didnt receive the payment. Also they didnt sent me a few times the bill, I had to go and ask to print it. Now, I have to pay penalties because of there dysfunctional system.
