City Buffet

Bigger,Better Shrimp than most Chinese buffets. And none of that dirt down the middle of the shrimp. First place I have been to where the teapot didn't dribble on the table while pouring. All food piping hot and good quality. The staff is very nice. Very clean place.

My son and I dined in last night. We completely agree with anyone in the reviews who mentioned shoddy service (barely checking on you), lukewarm food, and the nasty attitude of the man on the hibachi grill. We paid $16.99 for all you can eat. I suppose you could say you get what you pay for. We both decided we will not return. P.S. - Whoever said in the reviews that the hibachi grill meat is mystery meat is 100% accurate.

I recently revisited City Buffet after hearing it had been "remodeled," but sadly, the changes were underwhelming. While they raised the prices, the variety of food has not improved....in fact, it seems like there are fewer options than before. The flavor has gotten better in some dishes, which is a small positive, but it doesn't make up for the lack of choices. For the current price, I expected a much wider selection and better quality overall. This used to be a much better place, with more variety and a better value for the cost. Now, it feels like the higher price is unjustified, and the so-called improvements don’t enhance the experience. It’s not terrible, but it doesn’t stand out anymore.

Nice people food quality is eh. The dumplings were cold and chicken was out for what seemed hours. Crazy Buffet on hiawasseee and w colonial keep rotating thier food. Its why Is so fresh. You can tell the foods been out long at City Buffet. HABACHI IS THE ONLY thing good. The service and people were nice its just the food

Went last week on way to bjs for gas. Only moderately busy during lunch. Slow service for drink refills. Lots of empty pans on the buffet. Food was barely warm. Food did taste good though
