Citrus Cafe

In Janesville for only a few hours this morning and found the Citrus Cafe. So freaking good! I sat down and ordered and had food in front of me in less the 10 minutes. Will be coming back next time I’m in town.

10/10 breakast experience! Well worth the 20 minute wait for a table. The swedish pancakes are delicious and melt in your mouth, and the special butter they come with adds some savory richness. The poppyseed French toast is also a must try! Everything was cooked perfectly. Huge portions and fair prices! Wish I lived in the area because I'd go every week.

Fist time visitors Ordered the Gyro platter and let me tell you go now and get one! My only complaint is the Tzatzki sauce was very runny. Great flavor profile though.

Was just ok.. I didn't hate it but I didn't enjoy it either. Pretty standard breakfast fare. Biscuits were pretty dry. Hash browns lightly cooked. Nothing stood out. Was kinda surprised with the high reviews. Maybe it's about the pancakes and things I didn't try

Lived in Janesville my whole life and just stopped in to Citrus Cafe for the first time a few months ago. Been back a couple times since then. It can be a bit pricey if you get the fresh orange juice, but it is certainly worth the hype. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge. Would definitely recommend.
