Fantastic cidery! We were there during their soft open, a great range of cider from sweet to incredibly dry. I highly recommend the "dirty mayor", a little bit of Ginger really set this cider apart from the competition. If you like cider they have something for you here.
Tasty smash burgers and helpful staff. Don’t suffer was sweet and yummy. Nice spot to eat with friends, family or by yourself.
Citizen Cider served up some great Hard Cider on our quick, but good visit to this establishment! We dropped by Citizen Cider on a weekend afternoon between 3 and 6pm, the establishment was not busy. We unfortunately did not grab food on this visit as we were on our way to another event where food would be served, so we settled on a flight of hard cider and an order of chips and queso dip for a quick visit. The flight we ordered was of the sweeter variety of ciders on tap and we enjoyed them immensely! We regret that we couldn't dine here, but considering we cannot give an honest recommendation on food, we can definitely recommend the hard cider!
Not quite done for the day, it's time for another round of drinks and food. Citizen Cider was open until 8 so when I got here in a rainstorm at 7, it was quiet. Still serving and happy for the business. I chose a pint of The Unified Press and an order of the Crispy Brussels, both of which arrived swiftly. The cider was semi-dry with just a bit of sweetness. A perfect nightcap. The Brussels sprouts was a big portion and half of it went into a to go box. But the first half, I enjoyed very much until it was closing time. This was a lovely way to end my day of exploring Burlington. Nice warm spot, friendly service and great eats/drinks. I am only bummed that they were sold out of their non-alcoholic The Clean Mayor to bring a pack back home to my wife.
We did not stay but wanted to share our experience to correct a few of the previous reviews. First, great cider and a good selection with lots of options. We did not stay because this location is not dog friendly. I had checked previous reviews in advance of going and saw that dogs were allowed but apparently this is a new location and they don’t have a patio yet. There was not any outdoor space and no dogs inside due to serving food. Totally understand that, we just weren’t aware because I guess the dog friendly reviews were old. Also we saw another review about it not being handicapped accessible so wanted to correct that too. There is a nice ramp in the front going into the building. They do serve food but the menu was pretty limited. Tons of parking in the area. Just wish there was an
