Stopped in for take out and got the red lentil soup. It was excellent and very satisfying on a cold day. The soup was smooth but had a little texture, which I liked. I squeezed some of the lemon wedge it came with into the soup and the flavor brightened up, making it even more delicious. Next time I will try to have a meal there.
Delicious food as always. We have been long time fans of Cinar and we’re sad when the West Caldwell location closed. We love to order in but decided to visit today for lunch. We got 3 lunch specials of chicken shish with lentil soups and one shepherds salad. We also go the lamb kebab, Turkish tea, and baklava to share for dessert. Our server Yigit was super friendly and provided excellent service. He comes from the Cliffside Park location which we plan on visiting next! We ❤️ Cinar!!!!
Worst food ever. I ordered the mixed kebab for two and couldn’t eat it. The taste was terrible, and the meat wasn’t even cooked properly. Extremely disappointing experience and a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place at all.Only good thing was the rice rest is trash.
I just have good things to say about this restaurant. So happy I found it. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They played really good instrumental music which i really liked. The food was delicious and they give you really big portions. I had lamb shank at many different restaurants but this was the best I have ever had. Try their bodrum cokertme kebab, red lentil soup and their baklava so good! I definitely will be coming back to try other things in the menu. Oh and it's BYOB so that's a plus!
Food was delicious, service was on point and decor was beautiful. Just wish their bread was a bit more crisper, it was a bit too soft, I personally prefer it be a bit more crunchier. Also, hope they'll add mushroom casserole to their menu, just like their other NJ location ( Cliffside Park). But would definitely come back..
