I stopped here after going to the turtle back zoo and I'm so happy I did. The food was delicious, very fresh ingredients. Salad and coffee were really good too. The portions were big so i didn't have room for dessert but im hoping to have some next time. The service was excellent. Plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant.
Truly a hidden gem! We came here for copious amounts of fresh pasta and that's exactly what we got. Their build your own pasta section ensures everyone gets what they want. They don't skimp on the toppings and the pasta is delicious. The staff was very kind and attentive. Plenty of parking available in the back by the entrance.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. We got a build your own pasta with spicy arrabiata sauce, eggplant, spinach, and chicken, as well as an eggplant rollatini and chicken parm. Everything was delicious and the staff was wonderful as well! Highly recommend!
I had the chicken Parm! It was excellent. And the pasta was actually al dente which is a big deal these days in NJ. Highly recommended!
We drove in from a nearby town after seeing all the glowing ratings and Google reviews. The place has that classic Italian charm with white tablecloths, neatly arranged tables, and a playlist full of 50s and 60s tunes. The owner and server were both very friendly and enthusiastic, which made us feel welcome right away. The menu setup was a bit unusual though. There were no suggested pasta dishes, so you have to pick your own ingredients and sauces. Since I’m not Italian, it took me a little time to figure it out. The portions were large, but the taste didn’t quite match the hype. The marinara sauce tasted like something straight from a supermarket jar rather than being made in-house, especially when the reviews mentioned home-style cooking.
