Ciao Italian Restaurant &Bar

I cannot even describe how amazing this restaurant is in a review. The ambience is 10 out of 10. The staff is so accommodating and absolutely amazing and attentive, but the food the food is everything and I am telling you that this place is the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach. If you love Italian food like I do then you do not want to miss Ciao. I’m actually a Myrtle Beach local and it’s my favorite restaurant so if you are visiting, you need to come here because it will be the highlight of your culinary experience while you are here! Even my 12-year-old son asked me to bring him to Ciao for their fettuccine Alfredo although last week I had a Chilean Seabass with crab over an angel hair pasta with spinach and capers, and it was so phenomenal. Nice quiet evening spent with friends. Food was delivered quickly. We enjoyed the Greek salad. The Meatballs were moist and had good flavor in the sauce. The polenta cakes didn't have much flavor but the shrimp was good. Caprese was a large portion but unfortunately my tomato still had the core. The Halibut feature was ok. Chefs pasta and Chicken Marsala were good. Would visit again to try some different menu items.

Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is absolutely fantastic! Service was excellent, the atmosphere is dim lighting, upper scale yet somewhat rustic. And the FOOOOOD. Oh my gosh. Best food I’ve had since moving here. The meatballs were by far the best I have ever had. The bread is warm, crusty and delicious. I got chicken parm which came with soup or salad. It was amazing. Some of the best I have ever had. My husband got penne ala vodka which was also SO GOOD. The sauce was perfect. It came with grilled chicken which we could of just ate by itself on a plate, that’s how delicious and juicy it was. Our server was Zach and he was so attentive but not over bearing! We really liked this place. The space at our booth didn't leave much room for us and we are both thin people. The veal parm was great and the vodka with chicken was pretty good. I really liked the soup I got. The side salad was just ok but I'm not a fan of arugula salads and should have went with the Ceasar salad. I can definitely see us going back sometime.

I visited twice within the same week the calamari was really good delicious marinara sauce is served with it. Tim was my server on the first visit and Lily was my server the second visit both were great! The lasagna, bolognese, chicken alfredo, and the chicken marsala were all amazing definitely a place to visit for great Italian food the prices are worth the value of the food. Fresh grated parm is brought out with your dish a new favorite restaurant for year to come.
