I had the Combo C and honestly, everything about the experience felt special. The beef tongue was cooked perfectly so tender with a deep, savory flavor that wasn’t overpowering at all. The A5 wagyu completely lived up to the hype. It was beautifully marbled and literally melted in my mouth. Every bite felt rich and indulgent, but still balanced. I also really loved the wagyu miso soup. It was warm and comforting, and the meat was incredibly soft it just made the whole meal feel even more satisfying. The lemon soda was super refreshing and helped balance out the richness of the beef perfectly. On top of that, the restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained, which made me feel comfortable right away. The service was genuinely great too. Staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure

Found this hidden gem in the East Village and it’s a must-visit for beef tongue lovers! They specialize in Sendai-style charcoal-grilled beef tongue, and the quality is incredible. I tried the different cuts: 🐮Thinly Sliced: Very tender with a nice charcoal aroma. 🐮Thick Sliced: This was the highlight—super juicy and had the perfect snap! 🐮Premium Extra Thick: Honestly felt like eating a high-end Wagyu steak. Also, don't miss the Roe Rice—the salmon roe is so fresh and pairs perfectly with the meat. The Beef Tongue Curry was also super comforting and flavorful. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service is great. Definitely coming back soon!

Chubby Tan just opened and it’s already making a great impression. The wagyu tongue was incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly charred with a nice smoky flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in how it’s prepared. The space is clean and modern, and watching the grilling adds to the experience. Service was attentive and welcoming, especially for a new spot. Definitely worth checking out if you want to try something different and high quality.

The thick cut beef tongue here is absolutely outstanding. It’s perfectly grilled with a slight crisp on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. Love the combo presentation. This concept is surprisingly rare to find in NYC, I’ve only had beef tongue like this in Japan before. Truly authentic and a must-order.
