WOW! It is very hard to be impressed with every aspect of a restaurant these days, but Choppystix quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The decor is a ton of fun, and the seating is comfortable. Our server and the bartender were very friendly and weren't constantly hovering over us. The menu offers a diverse range of unique options for drinks, appetizers, and mains. The Meet Cuke & Pineapple Express cocktails were fresh and flavorful - a tad pricey, but the quality is worth paying for. We split the Bao Bun appetizer - stuffed with kimchi aioli and char siu pork. I would come back just to order these fluffy buns again. Our entrees, the Pok Pok Noodles, & See U Choppy were delicious, and the portions were sized just right for lunch. It's rare to find dry-style ramen in
Excellent Thai and other Asian hawker center style food. I’ve spent lots of time in Asia and was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. Have loved every dish I’ve tried. Prices are great. Service is friendly. Interior decor and music are nice. The name almost turned me off of the place, but give it a shot!
First time trying Choppy Stix (takeout order). I ordered the Choppy Stix Pad Thai with chicken, Chicky Boom Boom, and the Khao Soi with tofu. The Pad Thai was excellent and definitely the standout of the meal. The Chicky Boom Boom was good as well. The only issue was the Khao Soi, which came without the crispy noodles. If you’re familiar with Khao Soi, you know the crispy noodles are what really separate it from other curry noodle dishes and give it its signature texture. I called to let them know and was initially offered free crispy noodles next time. I asked if it would be possible to receive a full Khao Soi instead, but after checking with the owners, I was told they could offer “double crispy noodles next time.” I do appreciate the attempt to make things right and the customer serv
Great new place in town!!! Exceptional food with many choices for all diets and spice levels! Drinks are fun and fresh. Nice music and the servers were great. I would recommend this place for a work lunch, date or fun girls night!
Stopped in Portsmouth and felt like having Thai food, so I tried Choppystix. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the reviews were good, so I gave it a shot. The car was well diversified, the dumplings were rather gyozas; but goof. Service was fine, and the food was tasty, though nothing extraordinary. Overall, a decent option if you’re craving Thai.
