The best!! My go-to when visiting the Chelsea Galleries. Interior is adorable, staff is super nice, and the food is excellent!! Fresh & delicious! My order: Thai Iced Tea, Cucumber Salad, Pork Fried Dumplings, Chicken Pad-Thai, Coconut Flan! So good!!!
Chop Shop is hands-down one of my favorite spots for Thai fusion! Every time I visit, the food is consistently delicious — bold, flavorful, and always beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in their work, and it shines through in every bite. The service is always warm, friendly, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. They also have a great selection of vegan options, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend the green papaya salad — so fresh and vibrant — and the Thai glazed eggplant, which is full of rich, savory flavor. For non-vegan picks, the spare ribs are insanely good, and the crab fried rice is a must-try. Bonus points for their covered back pa
Our favorite Chelsea Chinese restaurant closed so some locals suggested we go to CS and we loved the food (pork belly buns, tom yum soup, pad thai) - it was delicious. Our 2 servers could not have been nicer - stories were shared from a trip to Nepal! We're also proudly carrying our Chop-Shop bag now :)
Sweet hole in the wall spot for Chinese (and Thai!) fare — the veggie dumplings are the perfect amount of savory goodness, paired with the Murray chicken dish with a stir fry veggie medley that reminded me of my beloved Peruvian dish: Lomo Saltado ❤️ Lastly the ambiance is lowkey enough to make the sole focus of a diner’s (solo or accompanied) experience centered on good food and cozy vibes. Shout out to the staff here and Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧
For the salt and pepper tofu. Unfortunately, there was no salt, no pepper or any other seasoning. Not even a little bit of soy sauce, completely devoid of any flavor and dry as a bone Tiny portion, I hate wasting money! but gave the stars cause the place and staff seemed pleasant
