Chivo Taqueria

Really enjoyed my first visit here at Chivo Taqueria!! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Made my way to the counter and built my large chicken burrito just the way I wanted it, thus it was delicioso. But that’s only because the ingredients all tasted so freshhhhh and the chicken was nicely grilled/cooked. Next time I’ll have to try the torta and see if it’s just as great! I must say though that it was nice to find a Mexican restaurant that has that authentic flavor. It’s my first week here coming over from Portland, OR and glad I was able to find some excellent Mexican food with that authentic flavor. If you’re in the area and looking for some delicious food, this is your spot!! Go visit! 🌯

I am pregnant and to my pregnant girlies — run do not walk here for your first trimester cravings. I literally have come here every single day the last week. Their small burrito is the only thing I can stomach and I love that they make the tortilla toasted and warm on the grill — such a special touch. Their atmosphere and parking situation is super easy in that area. And the price point for a small burrito for 10.99 is perfect. This baby is being grown on Chivos. So GOOD.

Absolutely delicious!! I had a carnitas burrito which was amazing! I could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The carnitas were juicy and full of flavour, I also had a piña colada which was very good, the place itself is nice I loved the tables makes feel in a different environment.

Solid taqueria near Harvard, especially for breakfast. Stopped by a couple times in the morning, and it’s one of the few taquerias in the area that actually opens early. I usually crave a hearty Mexican or Salvadorian-style breakfast when I’m really hungry, and this place offers simple, well-executed, no-frills plates. Chivo’s Breakfast was a classic Latin American-style combo plate. Straightforward, comforting, and exactly the kind of meal you'd find at a neighborhood spot anywhere from CDMX to San Salvador. Omelette Mexicana was also solid, though it felt like a remix of Chivo's breakfast, just in omelette form. Nothing surprising, but satisfying. Really friendly service and incredible tacos. My first time having birria tacos, so freaking good. Still one of the best meals I‘ve had in the Boston area so far.
