Chip's Family Restaurant

During my recent business trips to Orange, I had the pleasure of dining at Chip's Family Restaurant. Their pancakes are consistently outstanding, particularly the fruit-topped varieties. I have sampled the cinnamon roll pancakes, which feature a cinnamon batter and frosting, the strawberry shortcake pancakes with strawberry compote, and the patriot pancakes, which incorporate fruit within the batter and are topped with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Of these selections, the patriot pancakes were my preferred choice. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and attentiveness.

Very good family restaurant/ diner. My co-workers had the 2x2x2x2 (2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 large pancakes, home fries and toast). Both seemed to enjoy it. I had the pastrami special with fries- very good. Service was very good- attentive, polite, friendly and prompt. Restaurant was clean. I'll definitely go back when in the area again.

Sabrina was wonderful! So sweet and professional. I hope we get her as a waitress again time we come for breakfast. Today we had the 2x2x2x2 eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns (shredded, not the potato’s, I didn’t know shredded was an option so I’m so happy Sabrina mentioned that!!) and Cinnabon pancakes. My boyfriend had chocolate chip banana pancakes and eggs Benedict. We enjoyed our food as always. Chips is one of my favorite places!

What a fabulous find while passing through town! The pancake selection is insanely fun and if you want a cozy place with great food, look no further. The staff is a pleasure, especially if you're lucky enough to sit in Katherine's section - she was the icing on the cake of a great start to our day! 🥞

So good we had to come back the next day. The breakfast here is incredible, however service was never better than mediocre at best. Reasonably priced, and dependable consistent food. Parking is easy and includes large outdoor seating!
