What a pleasant surprise! This Chinese restaurant in the heart of Newport checks all the boxes — and then some. First off, ample parking is a rare and welcome perk in this busy area, making our visit stress-free right from the start. As for the food — absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor, served piping hot, and the portions were generous — perfect for sharing or taking some home for a second round. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the flavors were both comforting and bold in the best way possible. But what really stood out was the incredibly quick and prompt service. First time dining at Ching Tao my wife and i thought the food was great. The service was outstanding our waitress was Carey she was very Nice and attentive. Next time we are in the area we would definitely dine here again. Also the owners couldn’t be nicer. It’s nice to give a good review the last few places I’ve patronized weren’t so good.

We had vegetarian food there, was tasty, hot and good value for money. Portions were good size . Very friendly staff, ample parking . Just let them know spicy level

This place was right next to our hotel. We sheepishly called them 15 minutes before closing to inquire if the kitchen might be open, and they were so kind and accommodating. This place definitely deserves your business!

The restaurant had a run-down appearance. I opted for a basic meal of pork fried rice and chicken wings, but it was incredibly disappointing. I ended up throwing the entire dish away.
