Clemmie’s Homemade Ice Cream Middletown

Delicious, local homemade ice cream that’s at a reasonable price. You get a lot of ice cream in one of their scoops. Check out their seasonal flavors too; s’mores and pumpkin to name a few.

This ice cream is all made in-house and is absolutely delicious. It’s creamy, soft, and very very rich. Portion sizes are also very generous. I would recommend ordering a smaller size than you normally would at other shops. They also make their waffle cones(and bowls) in-house, and the whole shop smells heavenly when they are cooking. The staff is so friendly, and the place is very very clean which is greatly appreciated.

We drove by Clementine’s when we arrived in the area on Friday (they had already closed) and finally made it back by Saturday, thankfully since it was the last day of the season! It smelled delicious when we walked in. We all got waffle cones/bowls and got the mint Oreo, chocolate brownie, cookie dough and butter brickle. They were all fabulous!! Lots of locals were coming in while we were eating our ice cream to stock up on pints and quarts. When the locals are coming in you know it’s gotta be good. Highly recommend!

You know an ice cream is truly excellent when it's not overloaded with sugar but still tastes fantastic—that's the magic of homemade ice cream spots! Their portions are incredibly generous. I expected a single scoop for the smallest size, but it was easily the equivalent of two. Be prepared for a crowd, as this place is very busy!
