It's a small place, food was hot and fresh. Service was lacking a bit. The man at the counter looked annoyed and wasn't particularly helpful. Overall would return but get take out to avoid the over all interaction if possible.

I dont see people washing their hands with soap and water after servicing you at the front and handling money or your card i just see them go right back to handling the dumplings or rice and i never see them wash their hands before getting back to the task. That turns me off. Dont tell me that its going to get fried anyways and that it doesnt matter. Makes me wonder if anyone washes their hands after going to the bathroom. People can be so scary, thats how covid started, pure carelessness and lazy. People can be very layed back on customs like its nothing while im panicking.

I come from Lowell where there is Chinese food all over the place. To find a chi a star reminds me of home. Also my daughter has an egg allergy along with other items. They must have written down on a note next to our phone number about the allergy because they mentioned it before we did. They had no problem being extra cautious preparing my daughter's plate. That made me feel like they care for their customers like family. I thank them for being about their custo.ers. this will always be out go to spot! Much love China star methuen.

Pros: Ordered pick up and food was ready when we arrived. Serving size was enough for two. Cons: The fried rice was just rice and some bits of pork belly. Nothing else. Super plain. The food wasn’t really hot and the pieces of pork were colder than the rice. The chicken was so bland. Almost as if they just baked the wings unseasoned. Overall it was an underwhelming experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Been ordering from here for over 15 years! Great prices huge portions and most importantly delicious food!
