Chili Works

Chili works used to be great. I haven’t gone in a couple of years and let me say I was disappointed. Not only was the cashier rude but my burrito barely qualifies as a burrito. It’s not even rolled. Looks more like a giant soft shelled taco. On top of everything the cashier says they are cash only, but there’s an ATM behind you. Which chargers a $3.50 fee so ultimately I over paid for my burrito because I didn’t know they were cash only. There is no signage to let new customers know they are cash only. Very disappointing

Best breakfast burritos of the Southwest! Lots of chili, perfect ratio of potatoes and eggs and the meat is always perfectly cooked and flavorful. These burritos are always a hit if you want to provide food for movers and construction workers too.

Decent slopy and mushy burritos that have always tasted good. CASH only. The ATM in the lobby will charge you like 4 dollars to get money out for a 10 dollar burrito.

Pros: Fast, Cheap (for Los Alamos) Cons: Bland, Flavorless, Messy, Rude Staff, Weird Hours, No Place to Eat Food First couple times I came by this place, they were closed, despite me coming during hours posted here on Google Maps. Today they were actually open. I wouldn't have even tried for a third time had the place not come HIGHLY recommended by a friend who used to live in Los Alamos 8 years ago. Despite multiple co-workers warning me this place really went downhill, I had to give it a try anyway. First there's no marked spaces in the lot, no signs about where to park, so I parked next to the door. First thing I walked in the door they yelled at me for where I parked. I asked if I should move my car, they said "hurry up and order". I swear they handed me my burrito within 30 seconds
