Customer Reviews
Service was excellent. They accommodated my lunch partner worth her allergies. I thought that was nice!! Her salad looked excellent but she said the beef tips were under cooked. My daughter had the wedge salad and she enjoyed it. I had the chicken fried steak. It was not good!! Bland a chewy. My daughter tried and didn't like it either. We got the mac and cheese to share and that was really good. For the prices they charge it could be better. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere is nice.
My husband and i ate here about a month after opening and were very dissapointed, but i believe in giving restaurants time to iron out issues before reviewing. The one employee was clearly overwhelmed with hosting, waiting, and running food/drinks out to tables. We recently tried Beef and Leaf again over a year later and the food was adequate. I wouldn't say the food was anything special, but it also wasn't offensive like our first experience. The restaurant was better staffed and our waiter was very pleasant and attentive.
Fried chicken was great. Beans were super. Grits were very good. Shrimp and grits were very tasty. Great experience all around, especially for their 2nd day open! Later update: Heater has been fixed! Crab and corn fritters app was super. Pork Ossobucco was really good, especially the polenta. Veggies (squash) were excellent. Mac and cheese was good.
We enjoyed our dinner very much. I had the Shrimp & Grits, although not traditional, it was very delicious. My husband had the Ossobucco, also very good. Pleasant atmosphere. The waitstaff were very attentive and friendly!
Came here to have a business lunch. They put a few tables together to accommodate the party size, however the tables are not long enough to fit two adults so my knee kept hitting the table leg. The service was great. Waiter was attentive and polite and tried to avoid interrupting our conversation. I ordered the fish and chips from a recommendation and the fish was dry and needed to be cut with a knife since it didn't flake. There were a lot of fries included, but they seemed to be previously frozen and weren't as crispy as I would have liked. I ordered a soda thinking they'd have fountain drinks, but they handed me a can and a glass with ice. After 72 hours I had food poisoning, which may be unrelated, but I won't be going back. Atmosphere inside is fine, but the business itself is located
