Chile Frito Mexican Restaurant

I’ve been looking for a place that would serve a sizzling platter of fajitas like we used to find everywhere in San Antonio. Chile Frito did a pretty good job on the fajitas they served me. Their salsa was pretty good too. The restaurant itself is a small place that’s nothing special but it’s pretty typical of Mexican Restaurants I’ve visited over the years and it’s where I’ll go for Mexican food from now on.

Wow - just wow!! The guacamole is the best - creamy and fresh pico de gaya topped freshness that you want to just eat with a spoon! The jalapeno cilantro margarita- ooohhhh heck yaaas!!! Three types of salsa- all were great!! Food very authentic and delicious!! A have to try out!! If I could give it 10 stars I would!!

Okay, let's talk food 😋!!! Fam if you like a bit of Mexico in South Carolina, then this is a spot you must check out. So, the place is quaint and has personality. When we walked in, the hostesses immediately met us spoke and quickly got us seated. The servers were extremely nice and professional. Also, they were extremely knowledgeable concerning the menu. The food was really good and it came out of the kitchen quickly. So it was a good experience had by all.

Everything tasted great here. Started with Chips, salsa, and guac. They provide 3 different types of salsa which were all great. Guac was creamy and flavorful. For entrees I had Chorri Pollo and my best friend had steak chimichanga. Chorri Pollo hit all the notes that I look for in the dish. Chimichanag was incredible. The sauce was smooth and filled with flavor.
