Chicken Salad Chick

Food: I had the sassy Scotty chicken salad on a croissant! It was delicious, I loved it. The tartness from the ranch and saltiness from the bacon paired with the chicken for a pleasant surprise. It came with a side soup, and I chose the loaded potato soup which was delicious, warming for a cold day. Lots of cheese and bacon, potatoes were tender too. The cookie was ok, I liked the frosting but the actual cookie was just a little too dry for me. Service: The food came out fast, the person who took our order though seemed almost a little bored. Like she was twiddling with her headset. It didn’t detract from my experience at all though. Atmosphere: Lots of seasonal decorations up, and I liked the tall and slender outline for the restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by this place! I’ve stopped in a few times now, and each visit has been great. Most recently, I had the Barbie-Q Salad Sandwich — it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly balanced flavors and such a creative idea I’d never think of myself. I also enjoyed a warm bowl of cheddar broccoli soup, which was just as tasty. The atmosphere is inviting and well laid out with plenty of seating. I’ll admit, my first impression was that it felt a little pricey for a chicken salad sandwich, but after a few meals here, I can say it’s well worth it. Everything tastes fresh and high quality — plus you even get a little cookie to finish off your meal, which is a nice touch.

This is a very nice and clean restaurant. Very inviting environment. The staff was very patient while we made choices and helpful with suggestions! The food came out very presentable. Cold items were cold and hot items were hot! Everything was very fresh and delicious. I felt that the price point was fair for the portions we received! The temperature in the restaurant was a bit chilly and we went to the car for our sweatshirts to eat in comfortably.

Stopped by for lunch and absolutely loved it. I saw a few reviews with issues with the food, service, or pricing. Maybe they resolved those because during my visit, everything was up to par. I felt like I got an incredible value for the cost. I paid a little over $15 (see receipt photo) for soup, salad, scoop of chicken salad, crackers, pickle spear, and a cookie. Everything tasted very good. The salads were fresh and average size. The chicken salad was good. Surprisingly, it tastes like the chicken salad I make at home.
