Chicken Drive-In

Always so awesome! I'd consider it one of the hearts of Lake Stevens. Sure it gets busy, but the workers bend over backwards to get you your order in a timely fashion. The food is high quality, milkshakes are the best in town, and I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order off their surprisingly large menu. I love this place!

Food is pretty good and adaquate for what you are paying for. My ONLY gripe: Images show dipping sauce. The MENU even states dipping sauce included, (clams and fries) and it never is. They dont even ask if you want it, which I do. 1/4 lb burger is good and messy, so dont eat it in the car (or without a bib..lol) Everything Ive tried here has been good.

Service would have been 5 stars but got all the way back to camp and didn't have any tartar sauce and ketchup for our fish n chips. Otherwise fish was good and 3 pcs medium sizes and grilled chicken sandwich was large and tasty.. Prices are great for quantity. Not much atmosphere, drive through or walk up outdoor seating.

I rode the fence on if I wanted to give a 4 star or 3, but decided on 3 because of the last several visits. I truly enjoy the food at this location: garlic fries are by far my favorite and my husband loves the real fruit smoothies. However, they are getting pretty costly since the only thing they offer for meals are a couple basket options like fish and chips, shrimp and chicken strips. Everything is individually priced, which isnt uncommon for some of these local small establishments. Not a deal breaker. It was pretty weird the last time we came by for food. There was a person parked partially in the driveway to exit, totally blocking the view of traffic come thru the 4-way stop, and finding the exit. Ate here with two friends on Thursday afternoon. We all got burgers. Honestly, tasted great until we were all hit with the most awful gut wrenching food poisoning all day and night on Friday. Throwing up like crazy. Never experienced such evils in my life. Still feeling it. Beware of burger ):
