Lake Stevens Library - Sno-Isle Libraries

The staff are not warm nor pleasant as the FB posts or fun displays suggest. It’s rather disarming. There are a couple librarians (Yoko and I miss Connie!) who are eager to help, but most I’ve encountered at Lake Stevens tend to make me and my child feel like a burden, making the experience awkward and not fun.

Small & only 15 mins allowed per person on the computers. There's only about 4 computers available but they have laptops you can checkout. I've never been to any library that only has 15 minute allotment times and no extension they kick you off right at 15 minutes. Pretty small both the parking lot and inside.

Doing work in area and needed restroom. 15 min walk was worth it. Clean family style restroom with feminine products. Thankful something was nearby yet alone this gem!

The Lake Stevens branch of Sno-Isle library system. The staff has always helpful. There is a small study room and a larger meeting room that has activities for kids throughout the week. There is a 15 minute computer terminal for quick stuff and two 2-hour computers, you may also request a laptop at the desk. They have a very good copier/printer that will do color prints and copies up to 11x17. And recently self service hours have been added to extend open hours with a security pad at the door that will buzz you in, you have to register for the self service.

Always a pleasant experience. Their new COVID friendly way of checking out and returning works great. Thankful to be able to still check out books!
