Chicken Coop Colombian Restaurant

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful meal here this afternoon. We had no reason to believe this place would be as incredibly good as it was. Our server (possibly the owner of the restaurant) was delightful and obviously very proud of her establishment and, once the food arrived, it was abundantly clear why. Everything was fresh and of excellent quality. Portions were extremely generous and served in an appealing manner. This may be a small little place that you could pass by 100 times and never notice, but after you've eaten there, I don't think you'll forget it. And, if you're like us, you'll definitely be paying them another visit. Can't recommend this lovely little restaurant highly enough.

This place is a hidden gem. If you love karaoke then go here on a Saturday night. Great food. Good size portions at a reasonable price. Drinks are delicious. Family friendly. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Great place for small parties or a night out.

The food was very tasty and delicious, but this made me feel bad when I ordered the Coop grill because the guacamole to spread with the chorizo only had one avocado pit in the cup!

This place is a must try, an authentic Colombian spot in Valley Stream in the midst of all these other restaurants, was so needed. The portions that needed to be fried were fried perfectly the steak that you’d expect to be soft, was fall apart in your mouth soft, and everything tasted amazing and as it should.

I went to watch El Classico, it's nice that they have a projector to view the games. Usually the food is great but this time everything was extremely oily, I ordered fried food but it was definitely too oily. Otherwise this is a nice place if your looking for Colombian food and atmosphere. The service is always great, they are friendly and put the customers first.
