Everything I ordered (bulgogi sandwich, CNR sandwich, vegetable dumplings, sweet and savory chicken bites, soy garlic wings, chicken and rice bowl. Everything was absolutely delicious and the customer was amazing. My new favorite spot.
Stopped by for lunch with some of my family and we really enjoyed the food. Personally, I was a really big fan of the King Katsu Chicken Sandwich! The chicken was very crispy and the curry sauce complimented the sandwich very well. I definitely would come again to try more of the menu and definitely to try some of the sushi rolls and the self-service craft beer taps.
I'm kinda torn about this place. The sandwiches are good but the rest of the food just ok. My friend who ordered soy garlic wings 5 out of 10. I give sushi 5 out of 10, since they kept the rolls in the refrigerator as the rice was hard and a bit fishy. But also understand that they couldn't afford a sushi chef. King Katsu sandwich was the best thing I ate, along with mandu appetizer. The waitress Sue was amazing and I loved that they had self serve beer bar. It was Friday evening and the place was nearly empty.
We ordered the regular fries and sweet potato fries both were hot, crisp, and seriously addictive. The chicken wings were the highlight. We tried the CNR BBQ, Sweet & Savory, and Soy Garlic. My wife loved the BBQ and Soy Garlic both packed with flavor and perfectly glazed. My personal favorite was the Sweet & Savory, especially paired with the crunchiness of the chicken wings, which were cooked perfectly and held their texture even with the sauce. Everything tasted so good, well seasoned, and made with care. Flavors were distinct, and nothing felt generic or rushed. This is the kind of spot you leave already planning your return. And we definitely plan to return and try the other flavors and items off their menu. If you’re in Hampton and want crispy, flavorful chicken done right, Chick
We loved the soy garlic wings and the mango lemonade was super yummy! I love that they have some game tables set up with chess and other games. What a great way to engage customers as they wait for their food! The atmosphere was festive (love the Christmas decorations!) It was our first visit and we will definitely be back! The employees were very pleasant as well. Thank you for a great experience! Why don’t you open a location in Richmond where we live? Now that would be awesome! Happy Thanksgiving! -Shelby Brown McDowney
