I have been meaning to try this place for forever, and am so thrilled that I did. The aesthetic is so pleasant as are the employees I have had the pleasure of interacting with. To start, I tried one of the hot teas (which was great) as well as a single lemon ricotta pancake. I thought this was phenomenal! As my entree, I decided on the breakfast pizza. The flavors were good, but I could have appreciated more seasoning as I had to add salt and pepper. The crust on this pizza though was fantastic and crunchy-all that you would want in a dish like this. Overall, I appreciated the attention to detail, even in the menu and the “soft-tipping” strategy. Well done to the owner!
If you, like me, love a French restaurant, this isn't the place for you. I confess I was excited to visit, but I'd seen online that the menu didn't seem to offer traditional options. Still, I decided to go and take a chance. The place is charming, super well-located, a little difficult to park. The decor is very pleasant, the music too, but the service was okay and the menu has almost nothing French. It seems like an American restaurant with a bit of European flair. The presentation was okay, it took quite a while to get to the place where we ate, and I forgot to take a picture. The food was ok but nothing impressive.
Food was fantastic and the place is so nice inside! I got the avocado toast and a lemon ricotta pancake. The chocolate mousse was delicious as well. I love the à la carte options. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Greensboro.
The Avacado toast is amazing! I subbed the beets with arugula and it was top notch. Great fried egg too! Drinks were yummy, a small wait but worth it
If we could leave more than 5 stars, we would! Abby helped us arrange our wedding rehearsal dinner at the restaurant and it was the most magical experience. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous and romantic (and we're still getting comments about that AND the food!), the staff were so attentive and helpful, and the food was to die for! We absolutely adored the duck confit and the chicken and mushrooms (and we heard the beef burgundy was fabulous too, from our family), the mashed potatoes were heavenly, and the desserts were absolutely perfect. My husband melted into his creme brulee and I could have swum in a vat of the chocolate mousse and happily drowned. The staff even boxed up all the leftovers super well for us (which we SO appreciated!). Between the food, the service, and the missi
