Cherrywine Sushi & Burmese Cuisine

If you’re here with kids and large strollers, joint is up at the third floor and you hav to take a small elevator but the gift shop too get in so not the most convenient way to enter a building plus no free parking. Once we got in, food was absolutely worth it. Tried a sushi with ponzu on just banging flavor. To me most important with sushi is fresh catch fish and that it was. Also got edamame beans and a seaweed salad all on point. Plus an extremely polite server that assisted us. Kinda pricey but the portions were not skimpy, it is 2026 after all….

First time Burmese cuisine we tried all veg dishes and all are super tasty- samosa soup, Tea leaf salad, veggie tempura, green tea has real rose petal flavor. Excellent restaurant. Must try if you are in La Jolla.

Came across this restaurant last minute while searching for sushi in La Jolla, and ended up trying Burmese food for the first time. The restaurant itself is super cute with a great ambiance, and every dish was incredibly flavorful and delicious! But the highlight of our visit was the service. Our server, Oat, was genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. He gave thoughtful suggestions, and even tried to refuse a tip, but his service was so exceptional we insisted. Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in town. A wonderful experience all around!

We came here for dinner and absolutely loved it. The Burmese food was delicious, and we enjoyed a beautiful beach view while dining. We ordered the tea leaf salad, vegetarian Burmese khow suey, and vegetarian street noodles. Highly recommend this spot — it's also within walking distance to the beach.

A fun Asian fusion restaurant that has a little bit of everything. The owner(?) is very friendly loves to tell you about the dishes on the menu. It's located up on the second floor and was quite empty when we went for dinner. Burmese khao soi: Get A bit different from the traditional Thai version. It's still yummy but more on the creamy and flatter side. It's less bright and acidic which I personally don't prefer. Unfortunately, the portions are quite small for how expensive the dishes are but it's still fun to try I guess.
