Let me start by saying, this is a delicious gem that can’t be passed up if you’re in the area and thanks to Kevin it was an amazing experience. I’m not that familiar with Chinese cuisine but it turned out to be a positive one with our server Kevin guiding us through it all with the dishes he recommended. We started with a Vegetable dish that included preserved mustard greens and minced pork and I didn’t quite catch the name but it was a tasty starter. Next up was a bowl of braised beef in tomato broth. OMG! It reminded me of a dish my grandmother used to make and rest her soul. It was comforting and it really set the tone for the main dish. Ok so the star of the show was Salted Egg Yolk Crab that had us all giddy. This was really good and fun to eat. To finish off the meal we had a brown s

This restaurant is very authentic Hunan style, with distinctive flavors that are incredibly similar to what I've eaten in China. The chicken gizzards were amazing, although one dish seemed a little overcooked. When we were packing up to leave, I casually mentioned it to the waiter sister , and they actually gave me a refund! The service was excellent, no wonder they've survived in Rowland ~ The ice cream was delicious, and I'll definitely be back. I'm addicted to spicy food, and it's not easy to find the right kind of chili peppers, so I'm very satisfied!

My coworkers and I have been searching for a new spicy lunch spot since Spicy Home relocated further away & I think this is a great alternative that specializes in Hunan style cuisine so we get that 🌶️ 🥵 ! The service here was really good for how understaffed they were since someone called out sick. Two waiters took care of the restaurant during a very busy lunch, but I’d say our party of 6 got seated pretty quickly. They made the time to get us an extra chair & explain the menu. Restaurant looks brand new, a bit small like a mom & pops which makes it comfortable. Not overly decorated, but has a nice Chinese restaurant vibe. I’m obsessed with those garlic vinegar fern root noodles that are so refreshing. The Hunan bacon & ribs were amazing & lamb bite were really nice! The stinky tofu c

This is our latest find for authentic tasty Chinese food in the east San Gabriel valley. This one happened to serve Hunan cuisine, which is known for its extreme spiciness. We generally do not search out Hunan dishes, but I was hungry for some spicy food. We only tried two of its dishes and both were excellent. We asked the nice server if one of the dishes was spicy and her reply was pretty funny. She said there was only one item on the menu that comes without hot peppers, which was the steamed spare ribs with taro roots. Naturally we had to try it and it was very tasty. Both the taro roots and the pork were tender and flavorful, just as good as the top restaurants in China. We also tried the beef with sauerkraut in a bucket. We asked this one to be “micro” spicy and it was still pre
