Changing Times Ale House

We arrived around 7pm and were seated immediately. Place was packed but it didn't take away from our dining experience. We were waited on by Paige. We ordered a dozen original wings (grilled), a couple passion fruit margaritas, 1 strawberry margarita, Bavarian crunch burger and a rodeo burger. Good portion sizes and filling as well.

While i have been coming here for years, there have been recent improvements. Let's start with the wings, which can be hit or miss in size. The larger wing orders are filled with small wings, so stick to the smaller orders. However, they recently upgraded the salads, which deserves five stars. Plus the loaded tots are excellent too!! Nice beer selection.

Great family place. The beer battered shrimp was perfectly cooked. The family fought over ownership of the skillet Mac and cheese with fried chicken. French onion soup hit the spot on a cold winter day with loads of cheese. Service was excellent in such a busy environment.

Love this place. Burgers are crazy big and delicious. The wings have been hit or miss in the past, but lately have been on point. The special martinis are so good. It's loud in here with all the TVs, but that's to be expected. Parking can be tough.

Heard so many good things about their wings. While not a Buffalo, NY native, I have frequented the Anchor Bar as a baseline. I was very disappointed with these wings. Small and lacking flavor and crispness. Head on over to Batata for better wings.
