We came here on Christmas night to have dinner. Everything started out great. The ambiance was amazing, the music was great and we’re excited about our meal. Our server at first seemed very nice and engaged but that was the last time we saw her even though she was still working the room and at the end of our meal dropped our check. We started with the Short Rib ravioli and the soup dumplings. The raviolis were great and unfortunately the only thing we enjoyed for the rest of our meal. The soup dumpling wrapper was so thin they broke as we tried to pick them up. I called our server over but instead she sent a nice gentlemen to assist. He took them away and came back to tell us they were taken off the menu for the night and offered us something else. We chose the crispy shrimp and pork wont
Our server Mike is super sweet !! Love chicken liver Pate, And short rib dumplings!!! They are doing a fun collaborate with Thai restaurant Wayla ! Their juicy duck cooked perfectly with spicy thai curry sauce … Tom Yum soup with golden Sand pork dumpling are so perfect Paring together….. we order so much food for 7 people . It’s such a great restaurant to come in with group and share everything on the menu ! Loving the vibe as well .
We had a lovely Asian banquet at the wayla collaboration that evening of food, flavors and fantasy. The space reminds us of a movie set of a location, beautiful Banquets and red table reminds us of a retro movie set. The duck was the star of the show but some great appetizers and fantastic entrees, Chef Doron is a star. Great flavors and the pate was really interesting with blackberry jam and cruller.
Standout experience. Walked in without a reservation and were treated with nothing but kindness and warmth! Food was delicious, service was quick and efficient and overall a relaxing and refined atmosphere. Will come back soon!
Summary of 2 visits. First was during Restaurant Week but we weren’t offered the Restaurant Week menu (by mistake). Meal was mostly good although soup dumplings were a miss, not much flavor and mushy. The manager kindly removed that item from our bill and gave us some Prosecco with the bill. I enjoyed the pan fried dumplings, nicely cooked and served with a tasty dipping sauce. Shumai also good. Branzino cooked perfectly and bok choy was tasty. The French toast is something that should not be missed, a spectacular creation, full of flavor and likely packed with 2000 cal if not more, lol. Our second visit was for a restaurant week dinner. The shrimp dumpling starter was as expected, and it was tasty with lots of scallions on top.
