Center Moriches Free Public Library

The very best library on Long Island, in my opinion. Wonderful staff, amazing free classes from painting, jewelry making, cooking classes, exercise classes and more...all absolutely free! Passport, citizenship help, notary on staff and so much more. So happy it's my library!

My children love coming here. Miss Cecilia is truly one of those people built to work with children and mine adore her. The adult/section is well stocked and staff is generally always friendly. There is a Hampton coffee shop attached to the library I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. The staff is friendly but the coffee is Starbucks level expensive but terrible.

There are a lot of book options. However, the kids' play space is limited. They have plenty of options to keep a kid entertained, but there is really no room to walk if it it gets crowded, let alone an area for them to sit and entertain themselves. On a day that it just so happens to be empty it is much more enjoyable.

Very nice place. It was my first time in there so I will update it as I go along but it definitely has some very nice things. They have classes for yoga and for other activities as well. I do not have children so I can't tell you how that will go but it looks very nice to me
