Celadon Thai Restaurant

Celadon Thai in Latham, NY is a great place to grab some delicious authentic Thai food in the Capital district. The decor is pleasantly refreshing and the statues are a great addition. The mimosa was served with a flat champagne, not the norm for mimosas yet perhaps that’s how they serve them. Nonetheless great eats. Thank you Celadon Thai in Latham, NY keep serving up awesomeness on a plate!

Extremely slow service despite great food. We waited over 40 minutes total before receiving our meal — on a slow, raining night with fewer than three tables. It took 15 minutes just to get menus, another 15 minutes to get the waiter’s attention to order, and although food came out in about 12 minutes (credit to the chefs!), we couldn’t get anyone to bring a to-go box or the check. We eventually had to go up to the counter to request it ourselves. This was especially disappointing because the older gentleman serving us knew we were in a hurry, and we had decided on our order almost immediately. We ended up having to gulp down partial of the excellent food in under 10 minutes, which does the kitchen no justice. The food is delicious — speaking as someone who used to live in Thailand — but

My first time visiting this place, food was delicious and tasty. The Thai chicken fried rice, chicken red curry and a fried ice cream for dessert was the best part of it, a real treat. I dined in at a quiet time, but manager gave me company and offered hot sake since it was cold weather. The manager and staff were very kind and amiable, answering all questions and making excellent recommendations on food. The ambiance was relaxing and nice. I enjoyed my first visit there, and will return soon. Highly recommend this restaurant You can bring friends and your family. This is an experience you don’t want to miss. They’ll make you feel right at home!

Duck Soup is a 10 out of 10!! Soooo delicious!! Photo is just my leftovers. Very generous with the duck!!

Phenomenal service! Also the dessert sticky rice with mango was unbelievable and I’m not even a mango guy, very sweet and light! We got the pepper steak, Pho, and then the fish hot pot which was really good and spicy!
