Shibam Coffee

I stopped by Shibam Coffee while I was in Latham on a little weekend trip and I’m really glad I did. The place has a great vibe as soon as you walk in. It feels cozy, welcoming, and different from your typical coffee shop. The coffee was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. You can tell they put real care into it, and the flavor was rich and smooth. I also tried one of their desserts and it paired perfectly with the coffee. Everything looked great and tasted even better. The staff were friendly and patient, especially when explaining some of the drinks on the menu. It made the experience feel more personal instead of rushed like a lot of big chain coffee places.

The atmosphere is tasteful, clean, and welcoming. The design of the space is elevated and well lit with a gold motif throughout. The staff are attentive and speedy. The cafe is decorated with several factoids owing to Shibam’s Yemeni heritage! The lattes were delicious and rich in flavor! Highly recommend the Shibam Latte and Lotus Latte. Have to get the honeycomb bread with honey! Plenty of seating options with very cool glasses and trays! Very popular so seating might go fast.

Cutest coffee place around! Smells amazing, looks amazing, staff is amazing, AND there’s even space for meetings. Cannot wait to go back! 10/10.

We recently visited Shibam Coffee Co. and it has quickly become a favorite for us. It is the first Yemeni coffee shop in the Capital Region and such a special addition to the area. The space is elevated and welcoming, and it seems like the new hangout spot. It’s very family friendly. My kids love the hot cocoa and the refreshing strawberry açaí drink. We keep going back for the Adani chai, the lotus latte, and the brown sugar latte frappe. The drinks aren’t overly sweet, and the coffee itself is just delicious. The chocolate croissant and lotus milk cake were standouts, and we also enjoyed the honeycomb pastry and tomato pie. The owners and baristas make it even more special with their friendly smiles and warm service. We’ll definitely keep going back.

I really loved the coffee here — the flavors were great and tasted so fresh. The Lotus Latte is my favorite, and the spinach feta pairs perfectly with it. They also have amazing desserts like baklava, milk cake and many more which go so well with the coffee. The staff are super friendly and sweet, and the whole place has such a welcoming vibe. Definitely one of the best coffee spots.❤️
