Cedar and Olive

Food was incredible and the staff was so nice! They brought us out tons of great food and were absolutely above and beyond! The Falafel was some of the best I have had. Crispy, and incredibly flavorful / seasoned. 10/10 The Kefta was super good as well. It came in rice, with a side of salad, and some fries. The Hummus and the Grape leaves were made completely fresh. We got those as appetizers and were 100% worth it. They kept the bread coming as well and were very nice. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes Lebanese food or Middle Eastern cuisine. Reminded me and my family of home in Houston where we have tons of this type of food. THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY! 😄😄😄

Excellent freshly made, flavorful food. The owners are great hosts and are extremely friendly. Tried their med sampler and falafel sandwich. Med sampler was very filling by itself. Their freshly made dessert is super delicious. We’re going back soon.

Went to Cedar & Olive for lunch today and it was incredible! Eli, his wife, and their entire team greeted us right away and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere is awesome - great décor, relaxed vibe, and really well put together. The food blew us away - hands down the best Mediterranean in town. The meat was super flavorful and tender, and everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do. Amazing food, even better people. Eli and his wife are the kind of owners you just want to support. We'll definitely be coming back again and again!

My boyfriend is from Beirut and he said this place tasted like home. The owner was so kind and shared his dishes with us on the house because they are from the same part of downtown. Here, you can taste the best falafel in town (truly, the other “Lebanese” places in Jax are run by other ethnicities… no problem, but just different taste) — I had the amazingly fresh Fattoush salad (parsley, tomatoes, cucumbers) and my bf the Shish Tawook sandwich. My bf usually only orders one thing: Chicken Shawarma. Trust me me when I say the Tawook is now his fav shawarma in all of Jacksonville (we’ve tried them ALL). Listen to the owner’s story… he will tell you he once catered food for the Big Bang Theory cast ❗️ There is a fat calico cat they feed outside and she was so cute. Reminded me of the Middle

we are in town for the holidays, a family of five. We eat a lot and love Lebanese food. In between holiday meals, we were lucky to stumble across cedar and Olive. This is definitely a must come! This restaurant is full of extremely nice and friendly staff who are excited to feed the guest that come in. Furthermore, the food that they feed you with is absolutely amazing. The chicken plate came with garlic sauce that was absolute perfection. I wish I could bottle it up and take it home. The chef brought us falafel like I have never had before. The falafel was freshly made, fluffy, and flavorful. I was impressed by how much flavor all of the food had. The grape leaves, the salads, everything. All flavorful with herbs and Lebanese flavors.
