Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

This place is beautiful. Right on the water. They are renovating the property. I’ve eaten at many Bubba Gumps over the years and I love the menu and atmosphere. They also do trivia from the movie which makes it fun.

Such a great experience all around! Reservations were super easy on OpenTable, and we were welcomed right away by a really friendly staff. We sat in the Jenny booth which was so cute and really comfortable. Started with the crab dip—hot and delicious—and the fried pickles were perfectly cooked without being overly breaded (huge win). Everyone loved their meals, but the shrimp New Orleans and rack of ribs were definite standouts. Cocktails were on point to! They were balanced, instagrammable and delicious. The margarita with the shaker was my favorite (I added a shot of Grand Marnier and highly recommend). Doug, our server, honestly made our meal. Very mediocre experience. The food was sub par compared to juicy crab or any other place that sells crabs. My shrimp was over cooked . Crabs over cooked dry textured crab meat . My server Jane was really good and had good energy but the food was disappointing. Initially came here from tik tok . The crab dip was awesome , very small portions and the bubba bayou canon boil is a rip off

Our main course meal was room temperature and a few cold. I was there with my sister to celebrate her birthday with family members. A few of us ate some of the food and one sister particularly just did not eat. We all taken the difference home of the meal. It was our first visit we just wanted to try something different. Food wasn't at all poppin hot. I did enjoy the trivia questions.
