Customer Reviews
This was my second time visiting this CAVA location, and unfortunately it confirmed my first impression — the service and management here are extremely disappointing. I ordered a make-your-own bowl with lentils as the base and added a side of pita, fully aware there would be an extra charge. I was charged for the full side of pita, but was handed what looked like about 1/4 of a leftover piece. That is unacceptable, especially when customers are paying full price. What was even more concerning was the quality of the food. The employee (wearing clear eyeglasses) stepped to the back of the store to add the lentils to my bowl and returned with it. When I began eating, I realized the lentils were completely undercooked — dry, hard, and essentially raw. They were inedible. For clarification,
Queen (Quin?) and her team are amazing and very respectful. There was a disrespectful customer that came in that was yelling about portion sizes after the fact, but never asked for the portions when they were served their food. (I personally think the portion sizes are accurate and good). Queen was very respectful on explaining what cost extra and what wasn't, while the other customers started to raise their voice and started yelling at the team. During the entire time, she was very calm and explained to the man their policies while the man was constantly asking for free food. It was uncalled for, for the customer to act so rude to the staff that way, but the staff was very calm and kind to the end. And I do enjoy returning to this Cava because of the light and joyful nature of the work
This was my first time visiting the CAVA location in King of Prussia, and unfortunately it will be my last. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcomed. When I asked for basmati rice, the worker automatically put brown rice on my platter. The signage listed one option as “brown rice,” with only a very small note indicating it was basmati, while the other option was clearly labeled “saffron basmati rice.” No clarification was given, and a simple follow-up question could have avoided the confusion altogether. The portions were extremely small, about two tablespoons of rice with very little chicken. When I asked for more rice and more chicken, it felt like a major inconvenience to the worker. I was told I would need to pay extra, yet the extra portions I paid for were the same amou
This was my first time at the KOP location and I got my usual order of make my own bowl but did not see an avocado option here. All the other ingredients were fine except for the galic sauce dressing. It was as if some just filled the empty bottle with straight water. For the price of this meal I would expect quality and not corner cutting to stretch items As seen at the bottom of the bowl in this picture. I will give the location one try on another day but if it is not better experience next time I will not be coming back and will make the drive to Plymouth meeting to my usual spot to get it done the right way. Update: second and third visit were excellent. People, place and food were on point!
This was one of my first times eating at CAVA, and from start to finish, the experience was excellent. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly and efficiently. Ordering was simple and straightforward—you just tell them what you’d like, and they build your bowl right in front of you. I was especially impressed by the portion sizes. At places like this, portions can sometimes feel skimpy, but that definitely wasn’t the case here. I received a generous serving of rice and greens, and the amount of chicken was more than I expected. Almost every bite had a piece of chicken in it, which I really appreciated. They’re also very generous with the sauces. Since I enjoy the sauces, I was happy to be able to add plenty without feeling limited. The restaurant itself was clean,
