We arrive around noon with a group of 14 people. The food is very delicious and it’s an authentic Peruvian food. We highly recommend the Lombo Saltado and the homemade chicha morada. The couple that owns the place are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely came back. My only suggestion would be have more chair and table available, since the place has room for it.
So....cards on the table--I am not knowledgeable with Peruvian cuisine, but I must say that this was a wonderful experience. The owner was very helpful and willing to answer any and all questions that I had, including answering some based on my lack of understanding of the cuisine. (thank you so much for your patience with me, btw ☺️) I ended up ordering the 1/4 Rotisserie Chicken (which always so so tender and full of delightful flavor on my tongue), along with the two sides: Fried rice and Peruvian Beans. Also, and because I can't help myself when I see it....an order of Fried Plantains....dear lord they were so good!!! I'll definitely order more off the menu, and look forward to exploring and experiencing more of the cuisine!
Since opening a week ago, my family and I have been here five times and have tried something new each time. Their menu is curated to celebrate Peruvian food in the suburbs of Philadelphia; each item that we’ve tried has been flavorful and perfectly cooked- the chicken was juicy with yet crispy skin, the breakfast sandwich was hot and freshly made, and their rice is perfectly seasoned and a fantastic side dish. I also love that they partner with Ebru, as they have carefully and meticulously trained to serve fantastic drip coffee and artisanal drinks. Being both locally owned and run, it is no surprise they take such pride in the food they serve. I will definitely be a regular
Stopped in while in the area and had a delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee and the Lomo Saltado. They have a great assortment of dine in as well as take home options. I look forward to my next time coming back!
My family stopped by Uma's over the weekend. The staff was very warm and helpful with the menu. We ordered coffees and the family meal which comes with a deliciously seasoned whole chicken and a choice of 3 sides from the menu. The food was plenty for our family of 5 and our kids loved the flavorful and tender chicken and the fried plantains. The chicken also came with amazing sauces made at the restaurant. My lattee was hot and frothy. Make perfectly! Will definitely be planning on visiting again soon to try the rest of the menu!
