Causey Mansion Bed & Breakfast

This is a return tip for us. We think this is the best place! Joey and Jan are wonderful hosts. Joey even puts up with me rattling away while he is cooking us breakfast ... LOL|The house and grounds are beautiful. The house is loaded chock-full of antiques, you can just look around for hours. Jan puts an amazing effort into the grounds, and he and Joey have made the gardens a peaceful and relaxing escape. ||The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Each one is different, our favorite is the Sussex room ... definately book it if you want a sumptuous stay.||The mansion is set splat in the middle of downtown, and there are lots of great places within walking distances. Food, drinks, pastries, shops ... you name it! The riverwalk is there as well, make sure to check that out.||C

My husband and I stayed here for three beautiful nights, and we could not be more pleased. Jan and Joey were such generous and friendly hosts, it is so clear how much they love the house and grounds. Everywhere you turn is like a visual feast; they have decorated every inch of the property with beautiful and interesting objects. The food was excellent, the company was exquisite, our every need was anticipated. Walking through the gardens feels like being in a fairy tale! We will be regulars here, no doubt. I cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and we loved it. We were warmly welcomed by Joey when we first arrived. The outdoor gardens were gorgeous (the other owner Jan takes pride in his gardening). Breakfast was so good (I am already drooling just thinking about it). Super grateful for the experience… the mansion itself is like a museum. So many gorgeous works of art!! Super unique and worth the visit!

Our stay at the Causey Mansion was great! The owners Jan and Joey and their sweet little dogs' Piper and Lucy made us feel at home the moment we arrived. The mansion and gardens are beautiful and obviously loved . Vast and impressive antique collections but still a warm and comfortable feel. Breakfast was delicious and gluten free as requested.. thank you Joey! Looking forward to visiting again. Lovely place in a very friendly town.

Everything about our stay at the Causey Mansion and Bed & Breakfast was spot on. Jan & Joey were the perfect hosts and we loved our spacious well appointed room. The Mansion is filled with beautiful art work and collectibles and the outside grounds were extensive- gardens, fountains, pathways and sculptures abound. It was the perfect place to stroll or just sit and drink your morning coffee. Breakfast was a treat too with generous portions and well presented. The town is very walkable with nearby restaurants, shops, museums and even a river walk! We liked our stay so much, we made upcoming reservations for another visit!
