Catharsis Bar & Grill

There were too many appetizers that looked good so we ended up with 4 apps as our whole meal! So, take this review with that in mind. The entrees may be amazing but we can only speak for some apps! Wings were great. Cheese dip was tasty. Brussel sprouts were good. Tostones with meat - not so much. Meat was tough/chewy and didn't do it for us. Place is an interesting mix of cozy bar area on one side and brightly lit restaurant on the other. I'd say our experience was about 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up for the cocktails and entrees that looked good that we didn't try on this visit!

The best coconut martini I ever had! Catharsis Bar & Grill in Hawthorne is amazing! The wings (mango habanero & lemon pepper) were packed with flavor, the tacos and quesabirria were delicious, and the coconut martini was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Great food, great drinks, and great vibes all around.

Blown away by the food and drink options. Everything was delicious from our favorite wings to red snapper, to paella, and their mouthwatering apps! We had a great time celebrating our friend’s birthday. Shoutout to Luis and Pedro for making it extra fun! This is the place to be!

So delicious!! Would not expect it looking at the exterior driving by. The lamb chops were finger licking good! Luis was an amazing server.

Shockingly good. We stopped on the way to a ski trip and the food was incredibly good. Lomo Saltado, pasta with garlic shrimp, Brussels sprouts, and gyro. All good. Cocktails also delicious. It’s a random location but was a surprising treat.
