Waited over 20 minutes to be seated. After 10 minutes of waiting, a man told us they had plenty of tables, but he had to find staff to seat us. Pesto primavera pasta had no flavor at all. Some acid would have helped immensely, but the waitress never brought lemon wedges after asking for them. French onion soup was too salty. Very noisy restaurant!
We had a great experience at Casey's Caboose! We were visiting Killington for the weekend and went here for dinner. It was busy on Saturday night but we were able to get seats at the bar. Service was quick and friendly; we were impressed by the bartenders' ability to serve so many people so quickly and always with a smile. The food was delicious and hot. We also liked the cool train atmosphere! We will definitely come back here the next time we visit Killington!
We got onion rings for an appetizer. Light, crispy batter..and the onion did not come out when bitten through. This is very important! The fish and chips were great. My wife's burger was cooked perfect. Generous portions! The bartender is as advertized; very cordial. The waitress was great.
I came here my second day in Vermont and was excited since it was highly recommended. I ordered an all American burger with a little pink and it was practically raw! I also ordered the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and it was not a good combination at all. The pulled pork has a very strong flavor to it and does not pair well with the Mac and cheese but alone the Mac was delicious!
We go to Caboose every time we come to Killington because we love their food and atmosphere and people working there. Last night we sat at the bar and ordered onion soup, French dip and burger and couple of drinks. End everything was delicious! Also had a nice chat with bartender. Very pleasant evening :)
