Casa Lupe

When a place has been around as long as this, there must be something good there! That's the case here. Been coming here for years and won't stop coming since we always have a great experience, great service and delicious food. Came here for an early dinner so right when the opened and allowed us to get great service, enjoy the outside patio and the quietness of the street. Great dinner, will be back again

Unfortunately we had a mediocre experience at Casa Lupe. The food was pretty good, however for some reason the waitress got 2 out of 3 of our orders wrong in some way despite writing down what we asked for. I asked for Enchiladas de California and got Mole Enchiladas, and my friend asked for no beans (due to an allergy) and still received beans. I didn't want to waste the food so despite the waitress asking to take the order back, I decided to eat what was given to us. The Mole Enchiladas were fine, yet I was disappointed that so many things were incorrect with our order. Perhaps there was a lot going on that day at the restaurant.

The food was great. I had a chicken burrito and it was delicious. More than I could finish in one sitting. Prices were a little high but not so high that I would grade it lower. The mango margarita is a must! Perfectly blended but only four stars instead of five because it was a little weak on the alcohol.

Got the grilled fish fajitas special. I appreciated that it had plenty of veggies (zucchini, onion tomatoes and bell peppers). The sizzle tantalizing my taste buds, beckoning for me to take a bite. With a side of rice, beans, cheese and fresh flower tortillas- It tasted as amazing as it looked and smelled. There were no leftovers.

Tasty food and large portions with very good portions. The service is excellent. The chips are really yellow, but the salsa has great spice. I love it spicy.
