Carroll County Public Library - Taneytown Branch

Was driving by and saw that they had a little petting zoo outdoors. It happened to be a large event for children, and I went and grabbed my daughter and we went back and had a great time! Lots to learn; lots to do. They have tons of programs all summer long including free lunches all summer during the weekdays and it was amazing to see and do. My 2-year-old loved it.

The lady in charge when the manager is not present is super rude. Also, the young lady who wears a full see through mask feels the need to remind me each time I go that I can only be there for one hour. I want to tell her loudly “ I know since you have reminded me every time I go”. However, the gentleman and a few of the ladies that work there are pleasant and very helpful

We haven't been here for quite a while. We used to go here regularly when our children were younger. We had moved away for a few years. We were looking for some special books and decided to see if the library had them instead of purchasing them. Everyone was very helpful. The library had been remodeled. Very user friendly.

This place is more of a day care/nursery than a library. It is soo LOUD! So many kids not taught how to act properly in a public library.

Star Wars day was FANTASTIC! Make your own light sabers, crafts, trivia, and AMAZING stormtrooper, Darth Vader, and Empirial officer!
