Carriage House Inn Restaurant & Catering

We had such an enjoyable Sunday Lunch at the Carriage House Inn and restaurant. The interior is warm and cozy. We loved the piano music and the pianist was so nice! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic! A big stand out to us was the delicious soups. The Cream of Crab and French Onion were among the best we’ve had- I can see why they have larger portions available to go! The meals were delicious and the portions were large. We can’t wait to return again when we’re passing through the town!

We stopped in for an early dinner after spending the day touring the local shrines. The food was excellent, one of the best cuts of prime rib I've had in some time. My wife had the stuffed shrimp which was delicious. We also split a crab cake, all meat no fill and on point. Our server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and will repeat.

It was a very quaint brunch. Charming interior. A very attentive server. My wife had the avocado toast, and I had the fish and chips. Both were very good, but I will say, it was some of the best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. The fish was lightly breaded and not fishy. (My wife even liked it)

Everything here was superlative. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed while still being perfectly appointed and arraigned. The staff are amazing. And the food is top notch. We tried the shrimp, French onion soup, and the marinated ribeye. All perfectly executed. The lemon merengue was perfectly done, light and refreshing.

I have been wanting to go to carriage house Inn for a while now. For our anniversary my husband and I like to go out to nice restaurants and have nice, fancy meals. This restaurant is over an hour away from my house so my husband decided to surprise me and take us there for our anniversary. We ended up getting there early for our reservation and sat right away. We did not realize that on Sundays it’s a very limited menu. It’s basically brunch and then a limited dinner menu, which is OK but I would not have gone on a Sunday if I had known that because I wanted real food, but thats our fault for not looking in advance.
