Carolina Hills Sandwich & Sweet Shoppe

I ordered the club sandwich and my husband ordered the Cuban. The person taking the order asked if I wanted my bread toasted and I said yes. The sandwich was ice cold including the bread. They must toast the bread ahead of time and set it aside. I thought I was getting a hot or at least semi warm sandwich so I was pretty disappointed. The bread was really crispy and the sandwich was difficult to eat. If I go again I’ll get something else. My husband said the Cuban was very good and his sandwich was hot. I will say the tomatoes and lettuce seemed very fresh. I thought it was a little expensive considering it doesn’t come with chips or anything.

The place is clean and quiet. No music to talk over so the noise level is very low. .we shared a Rueben Sandwich with side salad. Tasty and the sandwich was loaded with meat and sauerkraut. The marble rye was toasted to perfection. The side salad was fresh and crisp. I'll go back in the future. Stop in for a tasty lunch and delicious looking desserts tet are made on site.

Very Nice spot for a little lunch date. I didn’t expect the sandwiches to be so big but I’m glad because all you need is a sandwich to go! If I would’ve bought a drink, pasta and chips I wouldn’t have been able to eat it all at once! So come extra hungry…. Or save some for lunch the next day

Our downtown North Augusta is becoming more alive. We are getting more shops and restaurant's. The Carolina hills Sandwich is a true hometown restaurant. The family ran atmosphere is so welcoming, you will keep going back. The amount of food, you just can't beat it.

Carolina Hills Sandwich Shop is such a lovely local business. They weren’t making sandwiches in the evening when we were there, but we did get to have some Racie’s Italian ice and it was delicious. A small came with two scoops, so we got to try peach, piña colada, lemon, and strawberry. Our favorite was definitely the lemon. We will be back for sandwiches soon!
