Beautiful! One of the few remaining Carnegie Libraries still serving their original purpose. Ask for a tour, you will not be disappointed. Go check out a book and thank your librarian for their service to the community. We stopped by again while in Ballinger and this time we met Caleb. He is such a treasure, his innovative ideas are a boone for this library’s future. Check out a book, participate in a library program, or donate to this gem of a library.
PLEASE, if you're at all interested in PUBLIC libraries, visit this one!! WE have 2 amazing librarians and lots of great books to choose from. The library here first opened in 1009 and WE are privately funded.
Great, quaint library. We were visit Ballinger and while driving around town came across an old building, so we decided to stop and look. Turns out it was the library. Beautiful building and the inside is pretty great too. The librarian was kind enough to give us a tour and tell us a bit of the history behind the building.

Great experience had some technical issues when printing but their service was very sweet and great
