Alejandra’s delivers fantastic food in a setting that has a classic Western feel, making it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a solid meal. The flavors really shine, and it’s clear care goes into the dishes. The only thing I wish they’d change is using fresh tortillas instead of store-bought ones, and swapping vegetable oil for lard to keep things more traditional. Those small details would take an already great experience to the next level. Overall, Alejandra’s is absolutely worth a visit for the food and atmosphere, with just a little room to lean even harder into its roots.

We have been eating here occasionally for the past 8 years. For our most recent visit we arrived at lunchtime on a Saturday and both our waitress and the cashier made this restaurant one we want to visit again. They were knowledgeable and nice. We tried the white sauce because one of our party has a tomato allergy. It was a sour cream based sauce and not spicy, that I thought it was priced appropriately. The salsa was not very spicy but went well with the warm chips. I recommend the jalapeno steak with its fresh cooked onions, tomatoes a s jalapenos. Our only issues were that the steak was over cooked and the fajita meat was cut with the grain which made it difficult to chew. The flavor in both was good. I hope the chef just had an off moment. Rustic restaurant with excellent service. We were passing by on our way to San Antonio and decided to stop by Alejandra’s for lunch. We were promptly greeted with chips and salsa and waters. To our surprise the food arrived so fast that even my 6 year old commented on the speediness of the meal. Then the food was delicious. The refried beans were so so good and my quesadilla Azteca tasted amazing. The kids meals were also great. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Okay, so I almost never write reviews, but seriously, my dinner at Alejandra's was a total train wreck. Right when we walked in, something felt off, you know? There was this young dude working there who was just...ugh. Super rude, like he was actually trying to make our night bad. I'm all about good vibes, and this guy was just radiating negativity. And the food? Don't even get me started. It tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week. Seriously, how hard is it to make a decent meal? Then, to top it all off, the owner was a total jerk. Like, didn't even care that we were having a terrible time. Honestly, it felt like they just wanted our money and couldn't care less about whether we enjoyed ourselves. Seriously, do yourself a favor and skip this place. It's not worth the h
