Caribbean Vibz

Had the oxtails and beef patty. Just to be clear it's not a traditional jamaican beef patty but an Empanada. I did love the breading of the Empanada. It reminded me of a jamaican bread called festival. Just like the beef patty the oxtail had a unique taste to it. It did come off a bit salty. Not sure if they use soy sauce in the marinade but I felt like there was hint of it in it. Oxtails are fall of the bone and tender. Carribean Vibz has a more Virgin Island Carribean twist.

Being from the Caribbean I can honestly and accurately say that the oxtails/seasoned rice was not good. The beef patty was not your usual Jamaican beef patty and also did not reflect the way this should be made and taste. The cabbage was dry, seasoned rice was salty, oxtails not seasoned/flavored the way it should be and had little to no stew from the browning of the oxtails. The jerk chicken was good though. Hoping this helps them improve.

I don’t normally like Caribbean food but I was starving and this place was the closest food i could find. Man I went there hungry but left questioning all my life choices! Like why don’t i eat Caribbean food everyday. The oxtail was so good my first bite had me closing my eyes like i am about to make out with it. The jerk chicken got me consider asking it for its hand in marriage. Next time i stop by i mma make sure i wear some stretchy pants 🔥🔥🔥

Food was Nice. I got the Goat and it was well curried. Rice was nicely flavored and beans were soothing. My son got the chicken, it was nice and crispy and fries well seasoned as well. They had great hospitality and were welcoming. Blessings and prosperity

The Grand Prairie Outlet Mall has a hidden gem for food lovers—Caribbean Vibz! While tackling some holiday shopping during this busy season, we craved something beyond the usual fast food options, and this spot delivered. The oxtails were incredibly tender, falling off the bone and served atop perfectly seasoned rice. The dish also came with flavorful stewed beans—so good we wouldn’t have minded an extra spoonful! While plantains weren’t included with the plate (as they often sometimes are at similar restaurants), they were well worth the price. Cooked to perfection, they had that ideal balance of crispiness on the outside and softness inside.
